Giving Evidence engages many volunteers and freelancers on a project basis.

We are currently looking for a Research Manager for the Foundation Practice Rating. This is a flexible job, for somebody comfortable managing a team of researchers gathering data. The workload varies throughout the year. More information is here.

Precise positions and roles depend on our projects and clients, and so change over time. However, we often need people with skills in social science research, analysis, client advisory. Experience in philanthropy, charity and/or social science research are strongly advantageous.

All roles require people who are analytical, precise and who respect deadlines. They all need people who can write (see this and this).

Though we are based in the UK, our work is in many countries and several continents, so we are happy to hear from suitable people anywhere.

Some of our projects are full-time, some are 2-3 days a week, some are a few days as-and-when. Many would suit people who want to work part-time. For example, we have several team-members who have young children and fit their work around family commitments, and who largely work remotely. Other projects require more face-to-face contact.
